The Sakura Science Program (https://ssp.jst.go.jp/EN/) is organized by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) which invites young people from overseas to experience cutting-edge Japanese science and technology.
The Sakura Science Program has invited approximately 33,000 young people over the past six years since it started. High school students from overseas have visited our campus and interacted with our students.
This year, however, due to the spread of COVID-19, the program will be held online.
This is a great opportunity for people who are interested out there to learn about the University of Tsukuba and the interdisciplinary programs it offers.
Please do spread the word around to those who you think will be interested to explore our campus virtually.
