On 18 July, a summer festival was held in the courtyard of Global Village starting at 6:30 pm.

This festival began in 2018, with the start of operations at all Global Village buildings. Its aim was to promote exchange between Japanese and international students living in the buildings and allow international students to experience Japanese culture and traditions.

This year, Global Village residents and short-term international students staying at the Short-Term Study Abroad and Short-Stay House also participated, deepening their exchanges.

At the festival, extracurricular activity groups such as the 'Bon LIVE' committee gave performances, the Ask Us Desk offered Ema (votive tablet) making, water balloon fishing and other fair games, as well as Japanese sparklers and cotton candy making, and over 200 students enjoyed the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival.

This festival is co-hosted by the university and the Daiwa Lease Group, the company contracted to manage and operate Global Village.
