TUAN Alumni Reunion Held in Almaty, Kazakhstan

On October 31, a TUAN alumni reunion was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.　

TUAN is a network that includes not only former international students, but also Japanese alumni living abroad, as well as current international students and Japanese students and was launched in 2023 with the aim of deepening exchanges among overseas alumni organizations and alumni and connecting them with their alma mater.

In addition to seven alumni, the Almaty alumni reunion was attended by one Japanese student studying in Kazakhstan, President NAGATA Kyosuke and Vice President IKEDA Jun ( for Global Affairs ), Vice President NAKAUCHI Yasushi ( for Collaborative Research ), Director SAKURAI Takeaki of the Office of Global Initiatives, and Prof. NINOMIYA Takashi, coordinator of the University of Tsukuba Almaty Office.

At the alumni reunion, opinions were exchanged on TUAN's current activities and future prospects.
TUAN will continue its efforts to deepen ties among alumni to further develop our international network.
