The Global Village Summer Festival 2025

On July 17, a summer festival was held in Global Village Community Station starting at 6:00 pm.

The festival began in 2018 with the opening of the Global Village, which aims to promote cultural exchange between Japanese and international students by introducing them to Japanese culture and traditions. The university and the Daiwa Lease Group, which manages the building, co-sponsor the event.

This was the fifth time the event was held, and around 100 Global Village residents and short-term international students staying in the Short-stay House participated. Participants deepened their connections through festival activities such as yo-yo fishing and shooting games, as well as experiencing lantern painting.
